Earlier on Monday, we covered an article in the French media regarding the interest Fulham had started having in Lyon’s Joachim Andersen.
It came from L’Equipe, who stated the Premier League side, in desperate need for some centre-back reinforcements, had made an ‘unexpected offer’ for the Dane, with talks regarding a move ongoing.
Well, it appears things have progressed since then as Gianluca Di Marzio has taken to Twitter to announce the defender will be undergoing his medicals ahead of the move ‘later’ in the day.
Andersen will travel to London in order to get the tests done, but it’s not said what time that will be.

As for the details about the transfer, the Sky journalist doesn’t provide any on this occasion, but L’Equipe’s report from earlier mentioned a season long loan with an option to buy, with Fulham paying €1m up front initially.
We’ll be keeping an eye on this one and let you know if it develops any further.
