A Sunday report from the Catalan press explained Jean-Clair Todibo isn’t in favour of joining Fulham despite the Cottagers having an agreement in principle for his transfer.

Scott Parker’s side, who are yet to collect their first point after playing four matches, want to strengthen the heart of the back four before the window closes today.

Lyon’s Joachim Andersen has emerged as a late target for the Premier League side, according to L’Equipe.

It’s claimed the Ligue 1 side ‘received a rather unexpected offer’ from the English club for the Denmark international, who joined Lyon from Sampdoria last summer.

Fulham have proposed a paid season-long loan deal with an option to buy. The newspaper states the French club are ‘still negotiating the terms and nothing has been done’ so far.

A source close to the situation told Sport Witness the two clubs are ‘discussing the possibility’ of the defender’s transfer.

L’Equipe adds Andersen’s potential exit would allow Lyon to earn a little more €1m from a loan fee and also get rid of a player who has not fully convinced manager Rudi Garcia.

They, however, warn this track could get complicated because Fulham are still working to sign Todibo.
