Lex Immers could make a decision on his future in the coming days, according to claims in the Dutch media. The Dutchman has been released from his contract with Cardiff City, and he’s since been linked with Celtic, Stuttgart and Club Brugge.
Telesport have reported Immers is likely choose his new club in the next 48 hours after exiting Cardiff City. Neil Warnock today announced the forward is no longer in his plans and is free to join whichever clubs he likes.
Telesport have already linked Immers to Stuttgart and Brugge, but there are further claims in the Netherlands that Brendan Rodgers and Celtic are also showing an interest.
AD.nl have also reported on Immers departing Cardiff City and they too claim Celtic could also come in for the free agent. Celtic will be looking to bolster their squad in the current transfer window, and Immers is an option for Rodgers.
They report the SPL champion’s interest in Immers is serious, but they also link Stuttgart and Brugge to the 30-year-old.
