Belgium’s HLN report that not only are Celtic refusing to let Dedryck Boyata leave the club, but they’re looking to add Jason Denayer to the squad.
Boyata has been in the Belgian rumour mill constantly since he started the country’s first games at the World Cup. With a year left on his contract at Celtic Park, it’s been natural to expect interest.
An offer from Fulham is said to have been knocked back and it’d be no surprise if that wasn’t the only approach Celtic have refused to listen to.
The Scottish Premiership club are said to have a ‘profound interest’ in signing Manchester City’s Denayer.
In Turkey there have been countless reports this summer, up to and including this week, that Denayer prioritises a move to Galatasaray above all others, having previously been at the Super Lig club on loan.
Denayer has also been on loan at Celtic, so perhaps a return there would be just as attractive.
There’s no mention from HLN whether this would be a loan or permanent deal.
