It’s all going on in France on Monday, although Scotland, via Celtic, are being involved into the madness that is January transfer deadline day 2021.
Marseille, in need of a new midfielder after selling Morgan Sanson to Aston Villa, are looking for a new midfielder, and they’ve bookmarked Olivier Ntcham as their man.
The midfielder hasn’t been a huge presence under Neil Lennon this season, starting just seven games in the league, and it was being reported that the Ligue 1 side had made an offer of a loan with a view to buy.
It was then hinted at that Celtic could accept a fee of as little as €10m for Ntcham, but that’s not what Marseille have put on the table.
According to Foot Mercato journalist Sébastien Denis, the French side’s original offer was of a loan with €5.5m at the end of it.
comme révélé par @LeMechenoua, l'OM a bien soumis une offre de prêt avec OA de 5,5 M€ au Celtic Glasgow qui en réclame beaucoup plus. Le dossier s'accèlère !

Down their end, Celtic are ‘asking for a lot more’, but the whole thing is ‘accelerating’.
We’ll be keeping an eye on things for you, don’t worry.
