Earlier on Monday, we covered the latest in Austria about Celtic’s interest in Nicolas Kühn and their efforts to add him to Brendan Rodgers’ side.

The player was said to be waiting for the green light to travel to Scotland, but the winger was still at his former club.

They have now commented on the matter publicly, and while they do not mention Celtic directly, all fingers point to talks with the Parkhead side, as Laola1 relay everything in an article.

They immediately open their report by saying a move to Celtic for Kühn is ‘already considered to be almost sealed’, and the most recent SK Rapid statement on their player seems to confirm that.

They stated that they had come to the decision that the winger ‘will not travel to the winter training camp in Belek’ and that the 24-year-old was ‘given permission to hold personal discussions’ with an unnamed club who want to sign him.

This is when Laola explain that this would be Celtic, who are interested in bringing him to the Scottish Premiership to finish the season and more.

One to keep an eye on, but it certainly looks as good as done unless something dramatic happens.
