Over the weekend, Tuttosport explained Juventus are paying attention to Celtic’s Odsonne Édouard.
On Monday, the same newspaper stated AC Milan are interested in the Bhoys striker and he ‘would gladly’ leave Celtic in the winter market, if an opportunity arises.
There wasn’t any mention of Celtic’s request to sanction the sale or how much the Rossoneri are willing to pay to acquire the 22-year-old’s services.
Calciomercato.it also backs up Tuttosport’s report and they explain the Frenchman is being approached by the Serie A side for the upcoming window.
The website provides details of the demands made by Neil Lennon’s side to allow the player leave in January.
When it comes to Édouard, the report adds Celtic have ‘no intention of giving up lightly, least of all in January’.
Having refused bids from Crystal Palace and Newcastle United, worth €20m and €22m respectively in the summer, it’s claimed the Hoops have no plans to lower their demands for Édouard.
According to Calciomercato.it, Celtic have ‘no intention’ of moving away from the €35m valuation for Édouard. This would make it ‘difficult’ for Milan and other European clubs to take the attacker, at least in the next window.
It remains to be seen whether there will be new developments in the coming weeks or if Édouard’s suitors have to wait until next summer.
