Earlier on Thursday, we covered the strange situation surrounding Bruno Ecuele Manga’s exit from Cardiff City.

It all started when WalesOnline published a report stating the 31-year-old would be leaving the Welsh side after their relegation back to the Championship, with a £3m deal to Guingamp being discussed.

However, local newspaper Le Bien Public came out with their own version, reporting the Gabon international was actually heading to Dijon, who managed to remain in France’s top tier via their playoffs.

Well, RMC Sport’s Loic Tanzi has confirmed the latter’s information, revealing that unless the player fails his medical, he will be heading to the Ligue 1 club.

The deal will see Ecuele Manga sign a three-year contract with Dijon, who will pay the Bluebirds a fee of around €2m.

Following his £5.6m transfer from Lorient back in 2014, the centre-back made 160 appearances for Cardiff City, scoring seven goals and assisting teammates three times.
