Every time the agent of Arsenal midfielder Jorginho is interviewed by the Italian media, we can be nearly sure he’ll be asked about the player’s potential return to the Serie A.
It was no different this time, as the representative spoke to Radio Crc’s show Si Gonfia la Rete (via Napoli Magazine).
Just after claiming he’s in Naples to watch the Italian national team, he was soon asked about the Arsenal player and a future with the country.
As usual, the agent didn’t turn down that possibility, despite highlighting how well the player has been doing with the Gunners.
“Football is dynamic, when Arsenal took him the Italian teams didn’t need a player like Jorginho. With his characteristics and his very intelligent football, he can go anywhere.”
Jorginho switched Chelsea for Arsenal on a €11.3m deal in January, having signed with the Gunners a contract which runs until 2024, with the option for an extra year.
Despite a few starts in February, the midfielder started Arsenal’s last three Premier League games on the bench, with Mikel Arteta going for other options recently.
In case things continue like this, that will certainly be used by Italian media as a reason for him to move back to the Serie A.
