Rangers continue to work on Pedro Caixinha’s wish-list, and it continues to have a Portuguese and Mexican feel about it.
There’s another player from the manager’s home country being liked today. According to O Jogo, there’s the possibility of Rangers signing Salvador Agra.
Agra belonged to Nacional until a few days ago, and after signing for Benfica, he was told he will be immediately sent out on a loan deal.
The destination is not sorted yet. Portuguese side Vitória de Setúbal are the other club who want him, so Rangers and Caixinha still need to work to convince Benfica and the player.
It’s also claimed that in case Agra signs for Rangers, it’s more likely that the deal with Daniel Candeias will collapse and the player will stay in Turkey.
Yesterday, speaking to Sport Witness, Candeias’ agent confirmed the talks with the Scottish side.
It’s busy and Ibrox this week week, and Salvador Agra is yet another new name.
