Burnley’s Mike Trésor is set to join OGC Nice, with negotiations progressing well between the two sides.
That’s according to Foot Mercato, who report that the French side are confident they can get their man on loan until the end of the season.
FM report that Nice have been targeting Trésor over the last few days after securing a deal for Youssoufa Moukoko.
Negotiations begun in the last few days and are believed to be progressing well between Burnley and Nice. There are only a few details left to be resolved between the player and the French club.
Because of that, Nice are moving forward in negotiations with Burnley and need to do so quickly given the transfer window closes at 11 p.m. this evening.
Trésor moved to Burnley in an €18m deal this summer after previously joining them on loan in September 2023. He made 24 appearances in total with both sides last season but only managed one goal and one assist in 901 minutes of football.
He does not appear to be a part of Burnley’s plans for the time being, despite that big price tag, and it seems Nice are looking to take advantage of that on deadline day.
