Serbia’s Mozzart Sport have reported on claims German side Hannover 96 are among the clubs interested in Liverpool winger Lazar Marković. They cite Hannover Allgemeine Zeitung as the source of their information.
Marković joined Liverpool in 2014 after the 20-year-old impressed for Benfica, but since then he’s struggled to breakthrough with the Reds, and has spent the last two seasons on loan with Fenerbahce, Sporting Lisbon and Hull City.
Mozzart Sport understand Jurgen Klopp has agreed to Marković’s departure, and the player has attracted many clubs, including Besiktas, Inter Milan, and Premier League sides. However, no club has yet met Liverpool’s demand of €18m to sign the attacker.
Hannover don’t want to sign the Liverpool player on a permanent transfer, but they would reportedly be interested in a loan for a season. The German side are also interested in Emre Mor, who has been made available on loan by his club Borussia Dortmund.
It’s not sure if Hannover would be keen to bring in both players, as they play in similar positions, even if both Marković and Mor can also play down the middle or on the left-wing.
