Portuguese newspaper O Jogo has today published the list of clubs who had scoutsĀ at the cup match between Porto and Viseu last night.
And it turns out that Premier League side Brighton were one of them, even though their targets aren’t revealed by the report.
With Viseu being a mid-table club from the second division, it’s safe to say the Seagulls went to the EstĆ”dio do DragĆ£o to watch the home side, who had no problemsĀ winning the match 3-0.
Alex Telles, ZĆ© LuĆs and SĆ©rgio Oliveira scored for the Dragons. Besides scoring the second goal of the game,Ā ZĆ© LuĆs also won the penalty for the first.
Porto players such as right-back Wilson ManafĆ” and midfielder Vitor Ferreira may have caught attention for their good performances as well. They’ve both beenĀ heavily praised by the local press.
Other clubs who sent scouts to this match were Bayer Leverkusen, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United, Sevilla, Leicester City, Montpellier, Lyon, Sporting GijĆ³n, Celta Vigo, Strasburg and Greuther Furth.
