Dutch side FC Twente are eyeing a potential move for Brighton and Hove Albion striker Jurgen Locadia.

That’s according to Tubantia, who say the forward is ‘on the list’ of players that the club are looking at.

They explain that Locadia, who joined Brighton from PSV Eindhoven for £15.3m in 2019, ‘seems to have no future’ at the Amex after a disappointing few years at the club.

He’s managed just six goals and two assists in 43 games, while spells at Hoffenheim and FC Cincinnati have both failed to reignite the fire.

He’s now ‘turned his back on’ the latter and returned to Brighton, but they don’t want him either, and a move seems likely this summer.

That’s where Twente come into the picture, with their ‘priority’ in the transfer market to add a central defender and a striker to their squad.

There’s no mention of a move at this moment in time, or even how much Brighton might look for to get rid of Locadia, just that he’s on the list of Twente’s possible options.
