Brighton and Hove Albion forward Abdallah Sima has suitors in Germany this summer as he gets set to return from a loan spell with Stade Brestois.

That’s according to Africa Foot, who report that Mainz and Stuttgart both have him on their radar ahead of the summer transfer window.

AF explain that Sima is expected to return to Brighton from his loan spell at the French club this summer, but his future with the Seagulls is yet to be determined. He joined them in an €8m deal in 2021 but has spent the following years on loan at Stoke City, Angers, Glasgow Rangers and Stade Brestois.

All indications are that the 23-year-old is not in Brighton’s long-term plans and Mainz and Stuttgart are ready to take advantage of that.

In fact, the latter have approached his entourage to start negotiations ahead of a possible move this summer. They’ve reportedly offered a two-year deal with options, while Mainz would offer a three-year deal to the Senegalese international.

Brest also remain in the mix for him too and would like to retain him after his loan deal, but it will depend on Brighton’s demands. The forward is currently valued at around €10m.
