Last week, Tipsbladet stated Brighton & Hove Albion are keen on signing Ibrahim Osman in the winter market.
Two days ago, Sky Deutschland journalist Patrick Berger stated the Seagulls are pushing to secure the FC Nordsjælland star’s services.
Brighton are in for disappointment as a fresh report from Tipsbladet claims the 19-year-old won’t be leaving in this window.
He’s currently with the Danish club at a training camp in the US, while a ‘major drama has unfolded’ around his future. Brighton are one of the Premier League sides who have tried signing the Ghanaian.
In the last few days, Roberto De Zerbi’s side have made a ‘persistent attempt’ to find an agreement with Nordsjælland. A deal isn’t going to take shape today, but not because the Seagulls couldn’t find an agreement with the Danish club.
The problem is to do with the agents involved in managing the winger. Osman has a deal in place with British agent Darryl Powell, while he wants Mitch Bakkovens to take care of his interest.
A complaint has been lodged with the Danish football association regarding the dispute between the two agents. This stopped West Ham from signing him and it’s now impacted the possibility of the attacker leaving in the winter market.
Tipsbladet say Osman’s exit has been postponed until the summer.
