Leicester City are eyeing a move for Milan forward Charles De Ketelaere, but could face competition from Brighton and Hove Albion.
That’s according to Jeunes Footeux, who say the Premier League duo are ‘interested’ in the Belgian forward.
They explain that De Ketelaere is in ‘serious trouble’ at the Rossoneri after failing to impress since a €32m move from Club Brugge in the summer transfer window.
He is yet to score in 26 games for the club, a big fall given he scored 18 goals and provided ten assists last season and Milan are not impressed.
In fact, they are ‘already looking for a way out’ for the forward and both Brighton and Leicester are thought to be ‘interested’ in him.
PSG sporting director Luis Campos has also been approached about a potential transfer in the coming months but it is unknown whether he would be interested.
Either way Milan are keen to move De Ketelaere on after a difficult season at the club. The Belgian is valued at €30m but given his struggles it is ‘likely’ that the interested parties will seek a loan deal with an option to buy.
Those interested parties are ‘already working’ behind the scenes despite the summer window being a way off and both Leicester and Brighton will be in the mix if he is made available as expected.
