Brighton & Hove Albion are one of the clubs in the race for Union Berlin striker Sebastian Andersson.
Swedish outlet Expressen claims the Seagulls are alongside Valencia in the hunt for the 28-year-old.
It’s claimed that Andersson is well known by Brighton manager Graham Potter, as the club’s scouts have been sent to watch him in several matches this season.
Despite Union Berlin’s poor campaign in the Bundesliga, the player managed to score 13 goals and make three assists so far this season.
Expressen claims that the German club have already set a price for Anderssen, and should demand around 60m SEK (€5.75m) for his transfer.
The striker has recently signed a contract extension at the Bundesliga club, renewing his deal until 2022, so that should definitely put Union Berlin on a stronger footing in any negotiations.
Despite Neal Maupay’s eight Premier League goals this season, Brighton don’t have any other player who’s scored more than three times.
