Lucas Moura is due in London, indeed he may already be there, to have a medical to join Tottenham Hotspur, according to Goal Brasil’s correspondent Sabrina Belalmi.
It comes after press in the three countries involved reported an agreed fee between Tottenham and PSG for the winger.
First the claims came from Brazil of personal terms being agreed and the outline of a deal at €25m. Then similar came from the French media, with only loose ends to tie up, and on Monday England’s Sky Sports got involved, although they have the fee at £25m rather than €25m.
PSG have been keen to sell Lucas during the current transfer window and the player himself has talked up an exit from the French club. Tottenham were initially said to want a loan but without a compulsory purchase clause, which wasn’t a great deal of use to PSG.
With FFP pressures once again bearing down on them, the Ligue 1 side need money to soothe their accounts, and it looks like Tottenham are providing that.
Spurs had initially been making moves for Malcom, but with Bordeaux refusing a sale this month, Lucas turned out to be a great option.
