The Brazilian press now backs-up that national team goalkeeper Alisson is close to joining Liverpool.
In an exclusive story this Tuesday, website UOL claims that the Reds are currently in pole position to take the player from Roma.
It’s said that Alisson has his ‘bags packed’ (‘malas prontas’ in Portuguese) to leave the Italian side, as the club have more than one official offer for his transfer.
The player was initially seduced by the interest from Real Madrid. But according to UOL, things changed slowly due to the Galacticos’ delay in making a move.
UOL mentions The Guardian’s report saying the player is close on moving to Anfield on a €70m deal, and claims that they have been able to confirm this information themselves.
And even in case Roma and Liverpool don’t find an agreement, Alisson is moving somewhere else. It’s taken as almost certain that a transfer is happening this summer, and likely to the Reds.
This morning, Tuesday’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport reported again on Liverpool’s offer and everything has taken off further since then.
