Barcelona are reportedly set to make a new attempt to sign Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool soon. Not with much optimism this time.
The Catalan club already had three different offers rejected, but they won’t give up as they have the midfielder as the main target of the transfer window. This information is reported by two Brazilian outlets today: Globo Esporte and UOL.
Coutinho’s entourage really want the transfer, just like the player has the dream to play for Barcelona. The problem is that they can’t do much more for it to happen. Coutinho has already spoken to manager Jurgen Klopp and even made a transfer request, but Liverpool still don’t want to sell.
UOL claims this new bid should be made on Thursday on Friday, right after the Reds’ game against Hoffenheim for the Champions League Qualifiers.
The figures of this next offer haven’t been revealed by either of the Brazilian sources. It’s worth recalling UOL had sources tell them the club won’t sell him ‘even for 500 million’.
It’s worth noting that Tuesday’s edition of Mundo Deportivo also reports Barcelona will make a fresh offer to Liverpool this week.
