Following reports saying Angers, Bournemouth and Galatasaray have been battling for Vitória Guimarães defender Abdul Munin, the Portuguese media today features a couple of stories to explain the situation.

Gathering recent claims, newspaper Record highlights that there’s currently an ‘auction’ going on for the 24-year-old.

They point out that Angers moved first, with Bournemouth ‘taking a first step’ by outbidding them, and more recently, Galatasaray joined the battle as well.

Vitória currently have the three bids on the table and shall now decide who to favour. Meanwhile, Mumin’s exit from the club is considered ‘inevitable’, as he’s their biggest chance of a decent sale in this transfer window.

Meanwhile, as newspaper O Jogo writes about the situation as well, they claim there are indeed Turkish and English clubs ‘delighted’ with the player’s potential, but writes that he could end up going to the ‘Arab world’ too.

Vitória are said to be open to all possibilities, as long as they get a good deal. So it sounds like it won’t be simple for Bournemouth to win this competition, even though the amounts on the table are not mentioned.
