Dutch attacker Memphis Depay is expected to leave Manchester United in the January transfer window, after rarely featuring under Jose Mourinho this season.

Depay has managed just 20 minutes of league football this season, and has been linked with a loan move to Everton, with Ronald Koeman very keen on his services.

French side Lille have also been linked with a move for Depay in the past, but those rumours have been put to bed by Lille’s new CEO, Marc Ingla, in ax exclusive interview with RMC Sport.

He said: “I prefer not to be so specific, But I think he will not come to Lille, if you want an answer. We must ask the technical manager of today, also to Luis Campos, but according to my info, no.”

Jose Mourinho hasn’t used Depay even in the Europa League this season, and his long term future at Old Trafford looks bleak. Reports in England suggest Depay is close to signing for Everton, and would be hoping to revive his career at the Merseyside club.
