Liverpool fans may remember that just before Jurgen Klopp was announced as Liverpool’s new manager, the move was confirmed by a little known source in Bosnia.
Pravda BL pushed the story and the information had supposedly come from Zeljko Buvac, who is a local boy for the Bosnian source.
It’s worth keeping that in mind because today they have an exclusive claiming Buvac is all set to take over from Arsene Wenger at Arsenal this summer, and everything is arranged for the move.
That would be a huge shock, and Pravda BR state the claims coming out of Liverpool that it’s just a personal break and Buvac will continue are not entirely correct.
They sound confident that their local hero will be on the way to Arsenal, and point out it was them who broke the Liverpool arrival story in October 2015.
At Sport Witness we remember that scoop and have been checking Pravda continually since the story broke he was on a break from Liverpool.
Arsenal appointing Buvac would certainly be a bold move but the club have made clear they’ll not be scared of such an appointment. The Liverpool assistant manager is now expected back home so he can ‘recharge his batteries’.
