Don’t worry, Blackburn Rovers fans, the name Vicky Kiankaulua is that of a real football, and one your club are interested in.

The interest from the Championship side comes from Foot Mercato in France, who claim Rovers are trying to sign the winger from La Louvière in Belgium before the end of the month.

The young 22-year-old has been something of an impact player for the Belgian club, and has scored three goals in 18 appearances for them, which has caught the eye of Blackburn Rovers.

In fact, the 17th placed team in the Championship have ‘made an offer’ for Kiankaulua, but do face competition from more local teams for his signing.

Both Charleroi and Anderlecht are among those keeping a close eye on the player, who only signed for the club on free transfer from Guingamp’s B team in the summer.

Therefore, there is a chance, if Blackburn Rovers get the deal done, for him to leave just six months after arriving, which would be a very quick turnaround for a winger who had only four appearances for a first-team prior to his transfer in July.
