Dundee Evening Telegraph have revealed Blackburn Rovers are the latest club to show an interest in Stewart, but it will take a seven figure offer to sign the player this summer.
Despite Stewart only having 12 months left on his contract, Dundee aren’t prepared to sell him on the cheap in this transfer window because they want to recoup what they paid for him. Stewart is valued in the region of £1.5m.
Blackburn Rovers will face competition from fellow Championship side Leeds United who have already brought in six players this summer. There have been recent reports Stewart is keen to leave Dundee in this window in order to progress his career after his impressive form last season.
Rangers, Aberdeen and Hearts have also been linked with the player.
