Cheikh N’Doye could be set for a quick exit from Birmingham City, explain L’Equipe in their Wednesday edition.
The midfielder only moved to Birmingham in the summer transfer window, after the club fought off competition for his signature.
N’Doye had been of interest to several English clubs for a year or so but Angers had refused to let him leave.
When it came to the summer window, Birmingham found themselves up against sides from Turkey and China, and managed to win out in the end.
With 24 Championship appearances already this season, N’Doye is clearly a used member of the Birmingham City squad.
That he hasn’t been quite as used recently is giving Strasbourg hope of signing the player, with former club Angers also interested.
Of course it will all depend on Birmingham’s stance, but with the French clubs looking for a loan it doesn’t sound overly attractive for the English side, unless they plan to bring a midfielder in themselves over the next week.
