Arriving at Clairefontaine ahead of the France games during the international break, Paul Pogba was one of two outfield players to train on Monday afternoon, with the rest of the players given a day off as they played at the weekend.

The Manchester United star was alongside Benjamin Pavard on the pitch, with the pair caught on camera juggling and simply enjoying themselves in a warm up, and yet it didn’t take long for something to happen.

Loïc Tanzi, a journalist for RMC Sport, reports, with a video, that Pogba injured himself ‘following a shot’, and ‘left training’ early, seemingly hurting his thigh area.

The player limping off can be viewed in the video, which will be a big worry to Manchester United, who will not want one of their stars injured.

Despite him missing out on Premier League games following his red card against Liverpool, the midfielder has been a starter in the Champions League, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have wanted to count on him for the upcoming Villarreal clash.

These France games would have been ideal for him to get some match fitness under his belt after sitting out the Tottenham and Manchester City clashes, but that is now up in the air, as we await more news on the severity of the injury.
