The English media dragging the Moussa Marega to West ham rumour back to life means there’s going to be repeat Portuguese claims on the topic between now and the end of the summer window.

Portugal’s sport newspapers have linked around half the Premier League with moves for Marega, with West Ham the club probably enjoying the most stories.

Even they got bored of it last month and things went quiet, but now the story has escaped from the bottle again.

A Bola take the claims from England and add that Porto would demand €40m from any club interested. That’s the player’s buyout clause, and Porto aren’t interested in any other deal, whether it would include West Ham fringe players or not.

The Portuguese newspaper states such an asking price ‘doesn’t upset the mood’ of West Ham, and they’d have no issue matching it this summer.

We’re not so sure about that, it’s a big fee and this link just feels so forced.
