As has been reported a number of times since last summer, Tottenham are a big fan of Franck Kessie.
The midfielder, who is currently representing Ivory Coast at the Africa Cup of Nations, is out of contract in the summer, which led to suggestions that he could leave in January.
This crept up in the English media on Thursday, with the idea of a bid for the player in the coming days to try and convince Milan to let him go early sprouting, and Corriere dello Sport have their say on the matter on Friday.
They tell their readers what has been said on these shores, reminding them that Tottenham, led by Fabio Paratici and Antonio Conte, are ‘fans of Kessie’.
As things stand, though, ‘the idea of the club’, being Milan, ‘is to continue with Franck until the end of the season’.
The newspaper does bring some hope for Spurs fans hoping this could happen, however, explaining that ‘an eventual attractive proposal from Tottenham could change the strategy’ at San Siro.
The question is: how deep does Daniel Levy want to delve into his pockets?
