Leander Dendoncker hasn’t taken part in Anderlecht’s second training session of the day, reports DH in Belgium.
It’s explained Dendoncker left the club’s training facilities for an ‘unknown destination’ and of course the West Ham offer is referenced.
West Ham have been linked with Dendoncker throughout the January transfer window, and it’s thought the player is keen on a move to the London club.
The midfielder has long held a Premier League dream and wanted a move last summer, but Anderlecht have been keen to keep him around and no club have really pushed for a transfer.
Earlier today we covered claims from Belgium that the player was waiting for West Ham to make a concrete offer of over €20m for him, so that he can get a move before the window closes.
Then came the report from HLN that an offer had gone in, but from the Belgian side of the story there’s been no claim of the amount.
If West Ham really want this one, and are prepared to pay, probably around £20m at this stage, then they can likely get it done.
This isn’t the time for the Hammers to try and argue over one million or three, if Anderlecht are demanding around £20m, as it’s been suggested they are, then West Ham should probably just roll with it.
