This week’s edition of SportBild reported Manchester United ‘absolutely want to sign’ Jadon Sancho, and his representative and Borussia Dortmund are expecting a ‘serious offer’ for the winger.

SportBild’s website has a report on the England international and they state it’s highly unlikely for him to continue with the Bundesliga side next season.

So far, a return to his homeland ‘seemed realistic’ and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are considered as a ‘potential prospect’ for the 20-year-old.

‘According to Bild’, Barcelona have joined the race for the Dortmund star and he is included in their summer target list.

The report also talks about claims made by Sport about Dortmund wanting Ansu Fati as they believe he could replace their wideman.

It’s unlikely the La Liga winners will be able to afford the German club’s player, especially when their priority is to sign Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martínez. Neymar has also been discussed as a target for the Camp Nou side.

In the past, United have been dragged into the mix by a handful of players, clubs and agents, to either get a new contract or a move elsewhere.

The Old Trafford club, for once, is on the other side of the fence as it looks like Dortmund are trying to put pressure on the Premier League side, by linking Sancho to Barcelona.

It’s also worth keeping an eye on the Catalan press as they would deny it, if there’s no substance to these claims. Should that happen, it’ll be another indication of the German club’s tactic to pressurise United.
