The Blaugrana president, Josep María Bartomeu, ruled out the possibility of the Brazil international rejoining the club, but that hasn’t stopped him from being linked with the La Liga winners.

Former striker Ronaldo also wanted to leave Inter Milan and rejoin Barcelona in 2002, but the club turned down the opportunity and he made a switch to Real Madrid.
