As Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic continues to wait for a decision on his future, the Italian media keeps bringing updates on his situation… and those always include Manchester United.
The latest one comes from Calcio Mercato. They start with a quote from director Fabio Paratici, who makes it clear the club are trying to find the best solution for the player.
“We will see what we can do with Mario, if he likes the Qatar option or not. We will talk to him to find the best possible solution.”
But it seems unlikely that Mandzukic is moving to Qatar. Calcio Mercato says he’s rejected offers from the country in the summer, as he expects Manchester United to move for him.
The website says the negotiations with the Red Devils should reopen in the January market, while the MLS also shows up as another possibility for the player’s future.
Regarding Juventus’ demands, the report claims that the Old Lady are looking to make at least €10m with the sale. They see it as a fair amount, since he’s a 33-year-old whose contract expires in two years.
