Fanatik report Galatasaray defender Christian Luyindama is now training on his own at the club’s training camp.

The DR Congolese defender picked up a knee injury whilst playing for his country in November and has spent four months on the sidelines.

The Turkish newspaper report Luyindama will be an important member of Fatih Terim’s team next season, but interest in him is expected to develop over the course of the summer.

It’s stated Aston Villa and Wolverhampton are both interested in signing the player, but Galatasaray are determined to keep him in the team unless a ‘mega’ offer comes in for him.

Aston Villa were linked with the central defender before his injury whilst there have been recent reports Wolves are also interested.

The Turkish side paid €8m to sign Luyindama from Standard Liege, and Fanatik claim they’d only consider selling for a hefty profit.

The 26 year old’s contract with Gala will expire at the end of June 2022.
