According to TRT Spor, Aston Villa have agreed a deal to sign Kasimpasa’s Egyptian winger Trezeguet for a reported €11m.
The Turkish TV channel have reported that the Premier League side will sign the player as the 24 year old’s spell at Kasimpasa has come to an end.
We covered initial claims from Turkey that Villa are keen to sign Trezeguet as they are looking to strengthen their squad for the Premier League. The footballer has been linked with various clubs around Europe and a move this summer would be no surprise.
Kasimpasa vice president Hasan Hilmi Oksuz previously stated they’ve received an official offer of €7.5m from Aston Villa which, was rejected, but it seems the Premier League side have managed to snap him up by offering €11m.
Earlier reports also stated the 24 year old dreams of a move to the Premier League, and he’s also linked with a move to Watford.
Trezeguet played 34 games in the Turkish Superlig for Kasimpasa last season and scored nine goals.
