He obviously won’t be going to Aston Villa, but the newly promoted Premier League side do get a mention for someone else.
Lille want to raise €120m by the end of July, through player sales, and when totalling up where that money will come from it’s stated Aston Villa have ‘raised the option’ for Anwar El Ghazi.
El Ghazi spent last season on loan with Aston Villa, and will surely be relishing the prospect of a shot at the Premier League next season.
L’Equipe make it sound like the deal is very much on cards.
