Last summer, Aston Villa signed the 24-year-old on a loan deal with an obligation to buy if certain set conditions are met.
The Italy international has been in and out of Unai Emery’s starting lineup this season, and has clocked in 950 minutes from 25 games, scoring two goals in the process.
Despite Fiorentina’s interest in securing his services, it’s claimed the former AS Roma man is ‘really happy’ with the Villans and isn’t looking to leave them.
Meanwhile, Fiorentina are following Zaniolo’s situation from a distance, likely to find out if there’s any chance to secure his services in a future window.
