Wesley Moraes’ transfer from Aston Villa to Internacional is about to be ‘anticipated’, according to reports from the Brazilian media.
It had first been claimed that the striker would arrive in Brazil before the weekend, and as now claimed by Revista Colorada, he’s set to land in Porto Alegre on Thursday afternoon.
Wesley is expected in the Rio Grande do Sul capital at 1:15PM, and then will sign a one-year loan deal with Inter.
Revista Colorada claims the deal will not include a buying option, since Aston Villa have ‘a lot of trust in his recovery’.
It’s said that even if there was a clause for a permanent move, the Porto Alegre side wouldn’t be able to afford it, given how much he cost Villa in 2019.
Following a knee surgery, Wesley Moraes even started the season at the Premier League side, but was soon loaned to Brugge.
In Belgium, he only had six appearances with no goals scored, and chose to return to his home country to seek his best form.
