Aston Villa’s Wesley Moraes ‘aims’ to be Levante’s fourth signing of the summer window, according to AS on Thursday.
The newspaper’s title states the striker ‘travels to Valencia to negotiate his signing’ with the La Liga side.
Inside the report, they explain the Aston Villa player will hold talks with Levante to join them on a loan deal for the coming season.
The Brazilian has endured a difficult time since he arrived at Villa Park from Club Brugge in the summer of 2019. He spent 16 months on the sidelines before returning to the pitch in April 2021.
There’s no mention whether the Spanish club will have an option to buy the Aston Villa attacker, who has a contract with the Birmingham club until June 2024.
Due to the South American’s struggles with form and fitness in the last two years, AS state Wesley’s medical examinations will be ‘key’, before a move to Levante can be confirmed.
