Jhon Duran has been linked with multiple clubs around Europe in recent weeks and it’s felt like someone has genuinely been offering up the Colombian international for transfer.

That’s unlikely to be someone working on behalf of Aston Villa, but rather an agent or intermediary working to try and build a deal to then benefit from commission, whether they’re directly representing Duran or not.

PSG are one of the clubs to have been linked recently, and Foot Mercato now bring a new slant on what’s been going on there.

In a report published on Monday evening, the well sourced French website states PSG have now decided to ‘accelerate’ this idea and have even got to the stage of submitting an offer.

That offer is related to personal terms, and presumably commissions, because Foot Mercato report PSG met the Aston Villa player’s entourage and presented the offer to them.

Foot Mercato state: ‘One thing is certain, Paris intends to play its card to the full since the player is seduced by the sporting project of the reigning French champions.’

Aston Villa are said to be reluctant to sell this month and are surely getting a little irritated at what looks to have gone on in recent weeks.
