Aston Villa fans probably remember that back in the summer, Barcelona winger Ferran Torres had been reported as a serious target for the club.

It was said Unai Emery’s side couldn’t make an attractive enough bid for the signing, and ended up failing in their mission.

Torres isn’t having a dream season for Barcelona, though, and according to AS, that could lead to his exit from the club in the near future.

It’s said the winger hasn’t impressed recently, and since Vitor Roque is about to join the squad, there’ll be even less need for the Spaniard.

That could definitely turn into a fresh chance for Aston Villa, as they should find a completely different scenario this time.

It’s said the relationship between his agents and manager Xavi Hernandez isn’t the best, and his departure ‘in the short or medium term’ is a real subject at the club.

So in case Aston Villa are still interested, they better knock on Barcelona’s door and see how much it’d take to sign him now, as in the middle of the season, even a loan with an option could end up making sense.
