OFK forward Saman Ghoddos has sent a warning to Arsenal after the Swedish side drew the Premier League club in the next round of the Europa League.
Ghoddos has been linked with a move to England in recent months, after Queens Park Rangers’ attempts to sign the Iran international in the summer window.
Speaking to Sydsvenskan was asked about drawing Arsenal in the next round of the competition “We know how good we are at home. On an artificial pitch, and with the cold. There are not many who are used to it.”
Ghoddos has been OFK’s standout player in the Europa League this season, and the game with Arsenal will surely put the player in the shop window ahead of next summer’s transfer window.
The forward was linked with a move to QPR in the last window when the Championship side submitted an offer, which was rejected by the Swedish side.
It’s unlikely OFK will sell now they’ve been drawn against Arsenal, but QPR may have an opportunity next summer.
If QPR do go back in for Ghoddos they should expect more competition following his performances in Europe this year.
