On April 7th, we carried a report from Corriere dello Sport, who explained that Arsenal ‘have moved’ for Paulo Dybala.
The forward’s current deal at Juventus will expire on June 30th. Last month, the Serie A side’s CEO, Maurizio Arrivabene, confirmed the player will leave the club as a free agent at the end of this season.
Since then, the 28-year-old has been a regular topic in the rumour mills as several clubs are trying to acquire his services on a free transfer in the summer.
Calciomercato have a report on the north London club and their title states: ‘Arsenal swoops on Dybala’. Within the report, it’s explained the Gunners are now among the clubs ‘interested’ in the Argentina international.
In order to secure the South American’s signature, Mikel Arteta’s side have ‘started contact’ with his agent, to ‘try to convince’ Dybala to make a switch to England.
Apart from Arsenal, the former Palermo star has Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United as his admirers in the Premier League. Inter Milan, on the other hand, remain the ‘most active’ Italian club chasing Dybala.
