David Ospina’s expected transfer to Fenerbahçe is on the verge of collapse, despite the Arsenal player already agreeing terms with the Turkish giants.
ASpor have reported the Fenerbahçe board have become frustrated in their attempts to sign the Colombian goalkeeper, because Arsenal have, according to the claims, increased his transfer fee at the last minute.
Fenerbahçe are subsequently in talks with Malaga’s Carlos Kameni, and ASpor say the deal is very close to being sealed. It’s been claimed Fenerbahçe are ready to make an official statement about Kameni in the coming days, which will come as a blow to Ospina.
According to previous claims Fenerbahçe had agreed personal terms with Arsenal’s Ospina, and he looked to be on the verge of joining the Turkish giants.
Ospina struggled to get games last season due to Arsene Wenger opting for Petr Cech as his No.1. With the World Cup next year, the Colombia international needs to be playing regular football in the next campaign, and may need to find a club which can give him more opportunities.
