Inter Milan seem to be preparing themselves for the sale of Lautaro Martinez at the end of the season.
According to a story from Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri expect to make around €150m with his transfer to Barcelona.
The newspaper lists three players who could replace the Argentine star at the Serie A side, and one of them is their long time target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Arsenal.
It’s said Inter Milan already thought of his signing last summer, when they were struggling to get Romelu Lukaku. Now the Gabonese striker becomes the ‘favourite’.
Tuttosport writes that Arsenal have been trying to extend his deal, since his contract expires in 2021. But in case they fail to do it, then they should drop the price they had been demanding last summer, which it’s claimed was €70m.
Inter consider Aubameyang to be the ‘perfect element’ due to his characteristics, and given how much they would make with Lautaro’s sale, the Arsenal player wouldn’t look very expensive.
