Emil Forsberg’s season is over.
The RB Leipzig forward got a red card against Hoffenheim and has been given a three game suspension, and it’s not gone down very well with the player’s agent.
Hasan Cetinkaya has told German newspaper Bild: “The ban is a scandal! Emil was fouled and provoked, didn’t even hit his opponent properly. The verdict is an attack on RB and Emil. They would not have done such a thing to a Bayern Munich player!”
And this brings about a potential Arsenal transfer.
Bild say it’s an ‘open secret’ the Swedish left winger wants to leave his club, and they reckon an offer of over €40m could do the trick.
It’s stated a January move to the Gunners ‘shattered’, and AC Milan also failed last summer.
Meanwhile, it’s been suggested Forsberg has either hinted at an exit on social media or sent a sarcastic message to those who dished out the ban. Although the tweet could be for something completely different.
Thanks for everything.

Agent Cetinkaya has also been speaking to Sweden’s Aftonbladet, telling them (about the social media post): “When the last game has been played, everyone will see what Emil means.”
Understandably, the newspaper then asked if that means a transfer is likely, to which Cetinkaya said: “As I say, everyone will see what happens to Emil’s future.”
It’s clear there are exit hints going on here, and it’s up to Arsenal whether they want to pay any attention.
