Arsenal have ‘set their sights’ on €20m Brazilian – Agent’s ‘goal is to bring him to Europe’

Danilo has been on the radar of European clubs much before he had a key role in helping Palmeiras overcome the first leg deficit to beat São Paulo in the second leg of the Campeonato Paulista’s final on April 3rd.

On March 14th, we carried a report from Calciomercato.it, who explained that Arsenal are ‘vigilant’ of the midfielder’s situation.

Apart from the Gunners, AC Milan and Benfica are also keeping tabs on him.

Earlier this month, the 20-year-old’s club teammate, Dudu, backed him to join a club like Arsenal or Manchester United in the near future.

The Brazilian’s performances have seen Lazio take notice and this is reported by Radiosei, relayed by La Lazio Siamo Noi, and the Biancocelesti are surveying several profiles for the midfield and have included the Palmeiras star in their list.

Danilo has the same representative as Lazio’s Lucas Leiva, and the report explains the agent’s ‘goal is to bring him to play in Europe’, but the Serie A side are not alone and this is when Arsenal are mentioned.

It’s claimed that Mikel Arteta’s side also have ‘set their sights’ on the South American, who is valued at €20m.
