We can add yet another player to the list of defenders Arsenal are reportedly looking at ahead of the summer: Joachim Andersen.
The news comes from Gazzetta dello Sport and Calciomercato journalist Nicolo Schira, who reports on Friday the Gunners will be sending a scout to watch Sampdoria at the weekend for their final game of the season.
Another player on their radar is Dennis Praet, with whom Arsenal have been linked for a while.
The journalist explains Unai Emery is interested in both players for next season, and points out this isn’t the first time the Premier League side have travelled to watch the pair.
Andersen has been a target for Tottenham over the course of the season as they prepare for Toby Alderweireld’s potential exit, but could see themselves in a battle with their bitter local rivals for his services.
Both footballers have been key to Sampdoria’s efforts this season, featuring over 30 times each in the league as Marco Giampaolo’s men currently sit 9th in Serie A.
