It seems Tottenham Hotspur are not alone in the race for Torino defender Wilfried Stephane Singo.

New reports from the Italian media now claim that Arsenal are another club who’d like to bring the 21-year-old to North London next summer.

The story comes from Tuttosport (via Toro News), who describes the ‘English sirens’ from both Spurs and the Gunners for the Ivory Coast international.

It’s said that following Antonio Conte’s wish of signing Singo for Tottenham, Arsenal’s interest ‘immediately’ shows up in the latest market rumours.

The story also points out that the player is made for Premier League football, as that will suit his style of play better than the more defensive Serie A.

Singo moved to Italy in 2019, having first joined Torino’s academy, and was quickly promoted to the first team, being regularly used since the 2019/20 season.

He’s protected by the club with a contract until 2023, with an option for a further year, and is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €12m.

Now with Arsenal and Tottenham both interested in him, his price is likely to go up, although not by too much, since he doesn’t have that long lest on his deal.
